At Buzzy Bee Preschool, children are active from the morning to the afternoon — because we know that movement is the best way for the development of the body and mind. We start each day with gymnastics, and we don’t stop there: dancing, music games, rhythmic exercises and team games — this all takes place in a fun and happy atmosphere. All these activities are led in English!
We go outside every day — regardless of the weather. Children run, explore and have time for free play, which develops independence, imagination and social skills. In July and August, our children swim in the preschool pool under the supervision of our bilingual teachers!
As part of our extracurricular activities we offer classes tailored to your child’s interests such as: judo, yoga, dance or sports games. In our preschool, every child will find something that interests them.
After an intense morning, after lunch, we provide time to quiet down and rest. Younger children can nap, if they need it - prioritising their natural rhythm and their parents wishes
All of the preschoolers have time to relax after lunch. We read books, listen to music, practice simple breathing exercises or do some children’s yoga. This way we teach that resting is something good - it’s a time to check in with yourself and your body, practice mindfulness and take care of yourself and your needs.

All of our meals are prepared in-house, using seasonal ingredients. Our meals are built around your child’s health and individual needs. We have experience in planning meals for children with allergies - every child eats what is safe and healthy for them.
Breakfast is served in a buffet style that fosters independent decision making. Lunch consists of two courses: soup and a balanced main course. In the afternoon we offer two snacks.
We serve water with every meal, and on colder days we offer warm, unsweetened herbal and fruit teas.
We make sure the children in our care understand the rules of healthy eating. We offer fresh fruit and vegetables every day. We encourage them to try new dishes and to understand when they are full. Shared meals are a time when we can teach table manners, develop relationships, talk and calmly focus on the meal. In our preschool, children don’t receive any sweets.
